My personal favorite among the Clear Lake is Tulip Hill Winery. They offer some very unique things that you should take advantage of if in the area. Every year they have an Annual Festival of Tulips. This two day event features many fun activities. First and foremost is the wine tasting. They will have all of the best vintages available for you to sample and choose from. Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvingons, Merlots, are all available to be sampled and enjoyed. Try all the different kinds to find the one you like best, you may be surprised. local restaurants is available with your ticket and you can sample some of California’s finest cuisine. Schedule some time to take a tour of the facility to see what wine making is really all about. From grape to glass Tulip Hill does it all. Also featured during this festival will be several musical acts. The Fargo Brothers Band plays on Saturday and with Richard Pergrina Band closing out the weekend on Sunday. This event will go on rain or shine and tents will be made available in the event the weather does not cooperate.
If you can not make it to the Festival of Tulips, there are plenty of other events centered around your Clear Lake wine tours. Later in the spring Tulip hill offers pairing events and no tax sales days.
